Best Flights from San Diego?
Many guests are traveling from San Diego. If so, look into flights from Tijuana Airport, which are usually half the cost. Feel free to ask other guests what flight they are booking.
How do I book my room?
Guests must book using the link in the 'Hotel Reservations' tab. This gives you access to our wedding room block. DO NOT book directly through the resort or any other sites. Contact us if you have any questions. To access the booking website enter the password: butternut
What should we wear?
Our wedding attire is Tropical Resort Semi-Formal. Guests are encouraged to wear lightweight, breathable fabrics in spring-inspired colors, soft neutrals, or floral prints that complement the warm coastal setting.
For women, we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats, as the ceremony and reception areas feature cobblestone surfaces.
For men, suggested attire includes linen or lightweight suits, blazers with dress slacks, or dress shirts in light or neutral tones. Ties are optional, and breathable fabrics are encouraged for comfort.
What will the weather be like?
Early April in Nayarit typically brings warm, sunny tropical weather with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-80s°F (29–30°C) and evening temperatures cooling to the upper-60s to low-70s°F (20–22°C). Rainfall is uncommon during this time of year, and ocean breezes often keep evenings comfortable. We recommend lightweight, breathable clothing, along with a light wrap or jacket for the evening if you tend to get cool.
Travel and transportation tips?
The closest airport is Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), located approximately 45–60 minutes from the resort, depending on traffic.
Our travel agent, Chad, is happy to assist guests with pre-arranged airport transfers to and from the resort for a smooth and convenient arrival experience.
Uber is also available from the airport. After exiting the terminal, walk to the left toward the pedestrian bridge, cross the bridge to the opposite side of the street, and request your Uber from that pickup area, as rideshare pickups are not permitted directly outside the terminal.
Please note that availability for return Uber rides can occasionally be limited. During our site visit, we experienced some difficulty securing an Uber back to the airport, but the hotel bell staff can easily arrange a taxi if needed.
We recommend allowing ample travel time when heading back to the airport, especially during peak travel hours.
When Should I Arrive?
We recommend scheduling your arrival at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) before 2:00 PM, if possible, as traffic to the resort can become heavier later in the afternoon. Because our wedding weekend falls during Easter holiday travel, the area may experience increased airport activity and roadway traffic.
Arriving earlier in the day will allow for a smoother transfer to the resort and give you plenty of time to settle in, relax, and enjoy the festivities. If your arrival is later in the evening, we suggest allowing additional travel time when arranging your transportation.
Registry
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift, and gifts are not expected. If you would still like to celebrate with a gift, we have created a registry on our website, where you may contribute to traditional gifts or our honeymoon fund. We are so grateful to celebrate this special time with you!
